#2273 The Clinical Value of Circulating Transcript Analysis (NETest) during Follow-Up of Resected Well-Differentiated Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors

Introduction: Follow-up after resection of pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (pNET) is designed to detect recurrence early, as incidence is reported up to 48%.

Conference: 15th Annual ENETSConcerence (2018)

Presenting Author:

Authors: Genc C, Jilesen A, Nieveen van Dijkum E, Klümpen H, Van Eijck C,

Keywords: neuroendocrine, pancreas, recurrence, biomarker, NETest, postoperative follow-up,

#2193 Advanced Gastric Neuroendocrine Carcinoma: A Diagnostic and Management Conundrum

Introduction: Gastric neuroendocrine carcinomas are rare tumors with a high malignant trait and poor prognosis. Endogenous hypercortisolism associated with neuroendocrine carcinomas can have a negative impact on patients' survival.

Conference: 15th Annual ENETSConcerence (2018)

Presenting Author:

Authors: Lambrescu I, Martin S, Nitipir C, Terzea D, Cima L,

Keywords: gastric neuroendocrine carcinoma, hypercortisolism, Cushing disease, ectopic ACTH,

#2185 Nonfunctional Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumor (NF PNET) Imaging and Evaluation Using 18F-FDG and 68Ga- DOTANOC-PET/CT: Initial Data of a Prospective Study

Introduction: Predicting aggressive behavior of NF PNET still remains controversial. It is known that lymph node metastases are rare but possible also on small (1-2 cm) NF-PNET. Positive 18F-FDG-PET/CT avidity is associated with poor prognosis in NETs.

#2118 Reassessment of Risk Factors Associated with Locoregional Lymph Nodal Metastases in Well-Differentiated Appendiceal Neuroendocrine Neoplasms

Introduction: To prevent loco-regional recurrence and subsequent development of distant metastases in Appendiceal Neuro-Endocrine Neoplasms (ANEN), the existing Guidelines have identified risk factors which would indicate a prophylactic right hemicolectomy(RHC).

Keywords: appendix, neuroendocrine neoplasm, lymph node metastases, appendicectomy, right hemicolectomy,

#2096 The Number of Positive Nodes Accurately Predicts Recurrence after Pancreaticoduodenectomy for Nonfunctioning Neuroendocrine Neoplasms

Introduction: The presence of lymph node metastases is one of the most powerful predictor of recurrence after surgery for pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (PanNENs), but the most appropriate nodal staging for PanNENs is unclear.
